Knit in a velvet style, from a blend of 90% polyester and 10% spandex fibers, this fabric displays soft, raised piles which are attached to a smooth base. Furthermore, this manufacturing process makes Stretch Velvet abrasion resistant (10,000 Double Rubs) and gives it a 20 percent vertical (from selvedge to selvedge) and 5 percent horizontal (parallel to the selvedge) stretch. Measuring 60/61 inches wide, this fabric is 0.65 millimeters thick, has a 330 GSM, and weighs approximately 18 ounces per linear yard.
