Julien Brushed Twill fabric is brushed after the weaving process, which results in a smoother, softer feeling when compared to other twill fabrics. Weighing approximately 7.5 oz per linear yard, Brushed Twill fabric has a 155 GSM, is 0.31 mm thick, and is 59" wide. When hung, Brushed Twill fabric has an elegant, flowy drape. I tore off my husbands collar and undercollar on an old but much loved barncoat. I was able to salvage one side of collar and undercollar-so just needed coordinating fabric for the other sides. It turned out GREAT and I was very pleased with FWD material.

United StatesNice twill, lighter weight than I was hoping for
I was excited to see this twill show up as a new item on the website so I immediately ordered some as the colors looked great. I've been looking for well priced twill for awhile. However I made a mistake and didn't check the weight and thickness of the fabric. I wanted something more medium weight for trench coats and this is too thin and light. I ordered 4 yards each of 2 colors and now I'm not sure what to do with it. Color is lovely though and it feels nice so I'll give it 4 stars. The product description says it can be used for pants and blouses so maybe I will look into that. Or perhaps I will try interfacing it to give it a bit more weight for what I originally wanted it for.
