I absolutely loved working with this! It did not fray, and it went together really well. the panels were serged together, except for the back. I serged each side, then sewed up the middle, as the top would be left open, as it is a separate overlay. I serged along the top, which was gathered and then encased in the yellow satin. This was done evenly, so when I did the hems, I snipped and then tore the fabric at the hemline, sewed horsehair braid to the bottom, flipped it up and sewed again. Made the hems straight. The three that I made were the first, third and fourth in the photo with everyone with their backs to me. I have worked with this for other dresses, and every time, it comes out so lovely. Wonderful stuff!
