The fabric came in a reasonable amount of time. I prewashed it and came out of the dryer beautifully. I didn’t want any surprises when it was cleaned later. I also washed and dried the satin back and washable felt that I sandwiched in between the pieces to add body. Liturgical fabrics are hard to find and I was grateful to find these.

The brocade design is beautiful, but the fabric itself seems flimsy for an altar cloth that might be sewn to last 50 to 100 years. (It is red, for Pentecost, and would only be used once a year.)
