Description
Abstract burnout silk chiffon fabric is composed of 30% silk and 70% rayon and is 43/44" wide. Burnout silk chiffon fabric is very similar to chiffon in both drape and feel, but tends to be slightly heavier. The process of removing fibers is know as the burnout style which is why the fabric has unique designs embedded into it allowing a slight sheen under the light.
This burnout silk chiffon features a printed multi-color abstract design. This fabric is thin and sheer allowing its pattern to pop providing a 3-dimensional look. It's lightweight and flowing drape makes it popular for overlays, sheer inserts, scarves and drape extensions. Our designers use the silk chiffon for tops, blouses, skirts and dresses.
