Sourced from 100% polyester fibers, this fabric is woven in satin style with fine, 75 denier yarns in the warp (parallel to the selvedge), and thick 300 denier yarns in the weft (perpendicular to the selvedge). This manufacturing process gives Matte Satin (Peau de Soie) fabric weight, and a smooth, even textured face, in addition to a subtly textured back side. Measuring 60 inches wide, this material is 0.35 millimeters thick, has a 185 GSM, and weighs approximately 7.2 ounces per linear yard.
