This is a real 100% silk of modern magenta color. I made the dress with felting flowers on the bottom (see the picture). I prewashed the fabric. It shrinked about 2'' and made a water pink, but the fabric kept the brightness and shiness. I like it very much.

I use it for embroidery wall hangings and have had a hard time finding a supplier with the colours I needed. I ordered med blue, dark blue, off white, white, red and black. It is washed and ironed and ready to use. I am happy with everything - except the white, you have to hold the off white and white sideways to each other to find any colour difference. Not sure they both are not off white. I will order much more of the off white as that is the base for most of my work. Great help from the staff to add to my order so it was one shippment!
