Highland Wool Felt fabric is manufactured by compacting fibers through agitation, heat, and moisture using a blend of 70% Wool, 15% Polyester, 7% Nylon and 8% Acrylic. Highland Wool felt fabric measures approximately 58" in width, weighs 27.2 oz per linear yard, has a 435 GSM, and is approximately 3 mm thick. A heavy weighted fabric, Highland Wool Felt fabric has a full drape when hung. Highland Wool Felt fabric is available in a variety of bold colors. I used this as an interlining for my coat and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It’s really warm and has a nice body to it, but it is quite heavy and scratchy, so I recommend a lining.

This fabric is such a nice blend and super soft to the touch. I made a frock coat out of it and although I don't think the material was ideal for the project, it will be so nice to wear this coat during a cold snap in Florida. And the care is easy too. Beautiful color, supple fabric -- you can't go wrong !

Curious about the texture and weight of this fabric, I ordered a sample in the Mocha color and it was absolutely stunning ! Wool is something that I find hard to take care of (moths and dry clean only !) so I was looking for a blended material and this is perfect. The feel is soft and the color is rich. My only concern is that I feel like it might pill with lots of wear, but we will see once I make a jacket out of it. Also, please offer more colors ! A forest green and cream would be lovely in this fabric.
