FAQ
What is terry cloth fabric?
Terry cloth is a cotton fabric woven with two yarns in the warp (up and down), and one yarn in the weft (side to side). This weaving style creates loops of very absorbent thread. Due to it’s absorbent, soft, and hypoallergenic qualities, terrycloth is commonly found in towels, bathrobes, and baby fabrics.
How to hem terry cloth fabric?
Since terry cloth is a thick knitted fabric, it may be best to use a serger or overlock machine to hem the edges. These machines trim and sew the fabric to create reinforced edges to allow more stretch and flexibility. If you do not have one of these machines, you can still hem terry cloth by hand using a #80 or higher needle and sewing a straight stitch along the raw edge of the fabric. After completing this, double back with a zig zag stitch.

Terry cloth is a thick knitted fabric. It is best to use a #80 or larger needle, with a 3mm straight stitch. Pre-wash your fabric to avoid any shrinkage. Check out our blog post to learn sewing tips for beginners.
How to wash terry cloth fabric?

Christmas Robe
I ordered the terry cloth fabric because my granddaughter wanted a terry robe for Christmas. The website had lots of great color choices and the quality of the terry cloth was just right for a cozy bathrobe.

terrycloth
Great from start to finish with fast service. Read some of the reviews saying was too thin. Bought anyway, and the person for whom I made the towels was very, very pleased. Color was very nice. So a 5 star review.

Bath wrap
Order came really quick. Was surprised after washing the terry cloth hoe it fluffed up and soft. Made extra large bath wrap for the winter since my bathroom is so cold.
