Great value!
This poplin is a good medium weight, somewhat stretchy, and just a little shiny. The price is unbeatable. I used it to make banners for a living history event.

Beautiful Colors, beware of intense fraying!
I bought Poplin as an alternative to Broadcloth for a cosplay costume I'm sewing. The colors are super nice! (Black & Dark Red) and the weight is perfect for a skirt, top & apron. However, I had no clue how BAD this would fray while I was cutting out my pieces and sewing! I was disappointed the first time I sewed some of it together and all my seams popped right back out as it has actually unraveled the entire edge... I highly suggest first sewing the edges with a simple straight stitch and also make sure to leave a full 1/4 - 1/2" seam edge. Other than that, you'll be good to go! (Also, make sure to have a lot of anti-fraying liquid on hand!).
