Fabric was gorgeous. It was a bit shifty as well and stretched some. I didn’t realize it was glittered. My house was covered in glitter for weeks. But it’s ok! The costume came out stunning!

This Fabric has some stretch to it so be prepared to attach it to a woven if you're making a bodice. There is glitter on it, and it does shed. It stopped after a bit but I had glitter everywhere when I opened the package. I would not use it for a whole gown, but I'll purchase again for other bodices.

We bought 25 yards of blush fabric to make peekaloon pantaloons, a pair of harem-style dance pants with a peekaboo side. Each pair of pants uses 5 yards. Yep, not a typo! 2-1/2 yards per leg. They're HUGE! This fabric is amazing! Firstly, we pre-washed it and that was one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life. Washing a couple yards in your washing machine, no biggie. Washing 25 yards in a laundromat and having enough glitter to clean up that you need to use a shovel is mortifying! The Babes all got together at my house for construction, (we had to use the floor to roll out the huge sections to cut!) and got to work. There were a couple of mistakes that needed to be unpicked, but the fabric handled all the manipulation like a champ! No excessive fraying, huge holes that showed after unpicking, or unwieldy messes to resolve. The fabric DOES fray, but we serged all edges and, despite pretty heavy use, nobody has reported any damage to the seam lines. We are now huge fans and wondering what else we can make so that we can order more of this great jacquard!

I bought a swatch of this fabric as it had just hit the site and I was interested. It's not as thick and "brocade-y" as I thought, but the subtle glitter that is added to the fabric makes it sparkle. Now I have plans to order full yardage and make a fairy princess dress !

The color is exactly what I hoped for. The fabric is lovely, though lighter weight than I anticipated. It will still work for the skirt I plan.
