It is ideal for floor to ceiling curtains and other home decor projects including wall coverings, event decorations and backdrops. The velvet ground gives the fabric an extremely smooth touch and accentuates the beautiful jacquard embroidery. This fabric features two usable sides, which are both shown in the product images. Use whichever side best fits your needs!

Great for capes!
I love to use heavy fabrics in my cosplays and this is stuff is PERFECT!! Everything I make has to be extra and dramatic for my own artistic expression and this fit the bill. I bought 2 yards in order to get my massive 7 foot cape out of it. The drape is perfect, it takes applique and machine stitching really well and IT CAN SURVIVE DRAGGING ON A CON FLOOR. I will be buying this for future projects- highly recommend in weighted fabrics help with your anxiety. Great for picking up and holding and digging your hands into to relieve stress. Colors are stunning, light reflection is beautiful and is washed like a dream with woolite and a delicate cycle.

Ship was fast, fabric is nice. One negative, the fabric is listed at 118" wide but it's not, it's 112" wide

The fabric is absolutely gorgeous! It is much more shimmery and shiny in person which I was not expecting but I love. It is a great quality thick fabric. Im very pleased.
