Ottertex® clear vinyl fabric is a durable waterproof textile that is both flexible and able to withstand heavy use. The fabric's unique combination of transparency and durability makes it especially popular in the construction of indoor/outdoor protective plastic liners for marine, industrial and crafts applications.
The fabric is also both temperature and UV resistant and can easily be maintained by wiping the textile with a damp cloth and mild soap. The width of the fabric is 54" wide and is composed of 100% vinyl.
Ottertex® clear vinyl is available in a variety of different gauges which refers to the thickness of the textile. The higher gauge vinyls are thicker and can provide enhanced protection for particular purposes.
This versatile fabric is perfect for furniture covers, tablecloths, shower curtains, bags, and works as a protective cover as well.
Below you will find a list of uses for each of our clear vinyl gauges. Please note the listed uses are only recommendations and gauge requirements may ultimately vary depending on the specific needs of different projects.
For small yardage, orders may be cut and folded. To remove creases, please put on a flat surface for a few hours. This fabric is sold by the yard and cut to order. Thousands of yards in stock to satisfy orders of any size.

The vinyl is perfect. We are going to replace an older ‘curtain’ we hang outside our breezeway to help keep water from melting snow getting onto the Breezeway. This vinyl is sturdier than the vinyl we used last year, unfortunately the old curtain tore during some high winds.necessitating replacement.

United StatesPRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE EXCELLENT
It was very hard to find a 72" wide clear vinyl but FWD had it. Additionally, when UPS was having shipment problems for over a week, the Customer Service desk sent out a replacement. In the end I got both. When I called to let them know I would send the replacement back they said to keep it as it would be more expensive to return it. Great business and great customer service!
