This fabric ravels very easily and the gold fibers are prone to static. Prepare for gold fluff everywhere in your sewing area. The picture online does not prepare you for the scale of this pattern.

I bought my fabric for a ren faire costume and it worked perfectly. It doesn't look as shiny close up but photographs beautifully and looks great from further away. Was pretty easy to sew by machine or by hand.
