This metallic jacquard is a dream to sew

It was beautiful. Made a chair cushion, and the fabric has enough give to it that it rounded around the corners without any angles. The fabric is polyester but because of the raised floral design, it feels less synthetic against the skin. A beautiful fabric for under $11/yard.

Beautiful fabric

I really love this brocade. I use it for stockings. This fabric and the 3d metallic rose fabric both like to shrink when ironed, so I cut larger than I need, iron, interface, and then cut out my pattern piece. The edges curl and fray, so keep that in mind when sewing. I bought this in a third color but haven't decided if I want to use the front side with just a hint of burgundy or the backside that shows it off more. I'm pretty sure both sides can be used.
